I oxidized inside the silver line with Black Max. The silver is dipped into water afterwards to stop the acid process.

Silver Art Jewelry: Custom large heart w hubby’s name and trellis

Oh I had a lot of fun making this one! It started with an over-all flower impressed background design. The leaf trellis is actually built to be the bail of the heart, to attach it to the chain. The name is stamped into the decorative background, along with a stylized rose. After firing, the entire piece is oxidized, or antiqued, then sealed with a lacquer to prevent further tarnishing.
